We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and inspirational A-Level English Teacher to join our successful Sixth Form team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious educator with a passion for English Language and English Literature and a commitment to helping young people achieve their academic potential. We are looking for an individual who will deliver high-quality teaching across A-Level English, creating, engaging and challenging learning experiences that develop students’ analytical, critical thinking and communication skills.

**East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.
Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.
