About the Role
As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual designs for both print and digital media. You will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to produce professional branding, marketing materials, promotional graphics, and visual content that effectively communicates our clients' messages while maintaining high design standards.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent layout and typography skills, and a passion for producing creative work that delivers commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Design creative marketing materials including brochures, flyers, leaflets, posters, banners, business stationery, presentations, and promotional literature.
- Create high-quality graphics for websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
- Develop and maintain consistent visual identities in line with client brand guidelines.
- Produce original design concepts from initial brief through to final artwork.
- Design logos, brand assets, icons, and supporting visual elements for new and existing brands.
- Prepare artwork for both digital publication and professional print production.
- Edit, retouch, and optimise images using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Create visually engaging layouts using strong typography, colour, composition, and branding principles.
- Collaborate with project managers, content creators, and web designers to deliver integrated creative solutions.
- Ensure all creative work meets brand standards, client requirements, and project deadlines.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Contribute creative ideas during project planning and participate in design reviews and team discussions.
- Maintain organised design files and ensure version control across projects.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Graphic Designer or in a closely related creative design role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Canva, and Adobe Illustrator or equivalent professional design software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, graphic design, print design, and digital design projects.
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout design, colour theory, branding, and visual communication.
- Experience producing artwork for both print and digital platforms.
- Strong creative thinking with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or another relevant creative discipline.
- Must be based in Glasgow or the surrounding area with the ability to attend our office when required.
