Keith Elkington Transport Ltd. - we are based in Wymbush, Milton Keynes and currently require a Warehouse Operative for a loading shift, on full-time basis.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 12am (with some flexibility), 45 hours per week as a minimum, overtime is paid at a premium rate.
The main purpose of the role is to assist with loading/unloading of catering equipment. Our fleet consists of around fifteen 3.5T vans, two 7.5T lorries, five 18T lorries and two artic lorries.
Category B driving licence and a forklift licence is advantageous.
Work is based both indoors and outdoors. Experience using pallet trucks, tail lifts and sack barrows is essential.
Main tasks:
Load vans and lorries according to the run list (next day deliveries)
Unload vans and lorries and process collections/returns
Quality checks
Secure and protect all products to avoid damages - high value goods
Follow all H&S procedures and regulations
Warehouse housekeeping duties
