Fat Cow is a seasonal pop-up restaurant, set in a beautiful wildflower meadow in North Norfolk. Serving up an array of delicious burgers, softserve ice cream, craft Norfolk beer and wine.
We have a keen farm to fork ethos and pride ourselves on using the best quality, local produce. All of our beef is from North Norfolk, grass fed and dry aged for maximum flavour.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Griddle Chef to join our team and help deliver consistently outstanding food throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cook and prepare burgers to a consistently high standard
- Operate the griddle efficiently during busy service periods
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency at all times
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen set-up before service
- Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards
- Help keep the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to deliver a great customer experience
About You:
- Previous kitchen required
- Passionate about quality ingredients and great food
- Calm, organised, and able to work efficiently under pressure
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during busy services
- Friendly and confident interacting with customers (our kitchen is open, so everyone plays a part in the customer experience)
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Most importantly, you know how to cook a burger to perfection!
Seasonal position: Immediate start until the end of September
Working days: Thurs - Sun, extending to Wednesdays during the summer holidays
Pay: Competitive pay
