About Us
Driftwood Home Improvements is a growing, family-run business with our showroom and offices based in Budleigh Salterton. We specialise in uPVC casement windows, composite doors, uPVC doors, conservatories and roofline products.
We are expanding and looking for an experienced, reliable Window & Door Fitter to join our installation team. The successful candidate will primarily cover Exeter, East Devon and Somerset, working from our depot conveniently located between Honiton and Exeter.
We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, professional installations and friendly customer service. With a strong and growing pipeline of work, we can offer consistent work to the right installer.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Window & Door Fitter to carry out installations across Exeter, Devon and Somerset.
The majority of the work will involve fitting:
- uPVC casement windows
- Composite doors
- uPVC doors
- French doors
- Conservatories and associated products
This is a self-employed position, so you will need your own suitable van and tools. In return, we offer competitive frame rates, a consistent flow of work and the opportunity to become an important part of our growing team.

Responsibilities
- Install uPVC casement windows, composite doors and uPVC doors to a high standard
- Complete installations efficiently and professionally
- Carry out finishing work including sealing, trimming and making good
- Treat customers' homes with care and respect
- Liaise with customers and the Installation Manager
- Ensure installations are completed to company standards and within agreed timescales
- Maintain a clean, professional working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience fitting uPVC windows and doors
- Composite door fitting experience is essential
- Conservatory installation experience is desirable but not essential
- Self-employed and able to provide your own suitable van and tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
