We are currently seeking a time-served Cooper to join our Girvan site. You'll maintain and repair all cask stocks held for both WG&S and customers, ensuring that they are 100% fit for purpose at point of use. You'll also address rejuvenation of stock and carry out assessment checks on all casks as required for coopering / rejuvenation.
Our ideal candidate is a time-served Cooper, and a self-starter with an excellent safety track record. Working accurately is important, so you will have good attention to detail and be able to understand and follow process. When things don’t go to plan you’ll be resilient, have a solution focused approach and make sure you support the wider team. Knowledge of HSE, HMRC, SEPA and other regulatory requirements would be an advantage, as would an awareness of barcoding operations.
