Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently while managing basic math calculations for accurate billing
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick turnaround and customer satisfaction
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently to uphold health standards and ensure customer safety
Requirements
- Prior experience as a barista or in serving roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and recipe measurements
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced setting
