Greenstorm is a fast-growing energy services business at the heart of the UK's net zero transition. Amongst other services, we deliver solar PV, air source heat pumps, and fabric insulation measures (CWI, EWI, IWI) for Tier 1 contractors, on behalf of social housing landlords, local authorities, and housing associations across England.
We're looking for a Project Administrator to be the operational backbone of our Install Division. This is a busy, varied role that keeps our projects running smoothly - from booking surveys and managing compliance paperwork, to chasing subcontractor sign-offs and keeping our client-facing trackers up to date.
You don't need a background in construction or energy - but you do need to be sharp, reliable, and good with detail. If you're the kind of person who notices when something's missing before it becomes a problem, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing scheduling and access coordination across multiple live install programmes
- Maintaining project trackers, programme of works, and completion records in Excel and our internal systems
- Handling compliance documentation — MCS certificates, sign-off packs, building regulations, TrustMark records
- Liaising with subcontractors, site supervisors, and supply chain partners to keep information flowing
- Supporting client reporting — preparing status updates, data packs, and progress summaries for housing clients
- Dealing with incoming queries from clients and contractors and routing them to the right person
- Supporting the Senior Scheme Delivery Manager with general project administration and ad-hoc tasks
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a project admin, coordinator, or operations support role
- Excellent attention to detail — you catch errors others miss
- Strong Excel skills and confidence managing data across multiple workbooks
- A calm, methodical approach under pressure — programmes move fast and priorities shift
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and self-sufficient — able to manage your own workload without constant direction
Useful But Not Essential
- Experience in construction, housing, utilities, or energy delivery
- Familiarity with MCS, TrustMark, or ECO/Warm Homes funding schemes
- Experience supporting multiple project managers or working across concurrent programmes
What You'll Get
- A clear pathway into a more senior coordination or scheme management role as you grow
- Genuine variety — no two weeks are the same in a growing install business
- A supportive team with experienced managers who are invested in your development
- Competitive salary, reviewed regularly
- Hybrid working — Birmingham office base with flexibility to work from home
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays, plus your birthday off
- Access to our company bonus scheme
