Our head office is in a listed building in Norwich, where this role is based, but we also have offices in Glasgow and West Yorkshire.
We are presently looking for an additional Transport Controller to join our operations team, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the transport operation of our holidays.
Our operations team is responsible for the day-to-day operation of our holidays across the five brands within our family, taking responsibility for ensuring our customers holiday experience is stress free.
In this role you will be involved with:
Preparation of paperwork for coach and taxi companies
Booking of taxis and coaches
Assisting with planning of routes
Day to day queries from customers, in-field colleagues and reservations team members
Completion of paperwork for our finance department
Supporting operations colleagues to ensure customer’s expectations are met
Skills
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
Experience of working in a logistics and transport environment
A can-do attitude
Experience of dealing with customers and working as part of a team
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Strong attention to accuracy and detail
Good working knowledge of word and excel
Hours: Full time, core 37.5 hours per week.
Working in a busy operations team for a holiday company is both challenging and rewarding. Being responsible for holidays means the role will include
Weekend shift work (generally between May and September)
Shift patterns on particular operational days
Inclusion on a 24-hour emergency on-call rota, handling occasional out of business hours calls.

Salary: £27 ,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
