Job Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on, organised IT professional to take ownership of our day-to-day office IT and to lead an important piece of work: our transition to formal cyber security certification.
This is a varied role split across two areas. On one side, you’ll keep the office, and site operatives running — supporting staff, devices, printers and the network. On the other, you’ll drive our journey through Cyber Essentials, then Cyber Essentials Plus, and eventually full ISO 27001 certification.
It would suit someone who enjoys both solving practical, in-the-moment IT problems and the more structured, project-based side of security and compliance.
You’ll report to our CTO and work closely with our senior development team — one of whom is on site every day — so there’s always someone technical on hand. That makes this a great fit whether you’re an experienced IT professional looking for ownership, or a capable junior ready to grow into the security and compliance side with support around you. Supporting both our office-based and site-based colleagues, a good chunk of the role is keeping a mixed fleet of devices running well.
