Overview
To support the efficient delivery of kit and equipment services across the Academy, and Men's programmes by ensuring all training and matchday kit is prepared, maintained, distributed, and laundered to a high standard. The role plays a key part in ensuring players and staff have the equipment they need to perform effectively while maintaining a safe, organised, and professional working environment.
Responsibilities
1. Be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, storage, and organisation of Academy training and matchday kit and equipment, ensuring all items are ready for use.
2. Liaise with Academy coaches regarding training and matchday kit requirements and attend sessions as required to provide support.
3. Transport, set up, and pack away equipment for Academy training sessions and fixtures.
4. Ensure all matchday kit is returned to the laundry area promptly and prepared for washing.
5. Prepare training kit for Men's, Women's, and Academy programmes, assisting with the collection, distribution, and allocation of kit as required.
6. Ensure all Academy training kit is appropriately labelled and ready for distribution.
7. Monitor kit stock levels and report any missing, damaged, or worn items to the Team Manager.
8. Safely replace laundry chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations and report stock requirements to the Kit Technician – Womens and Laundry for replenishment.
9. Assist the Team Manager with kit and equipment ordering processes.
10. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within all kit and laundry areas.
11. Launder kit and equipment as required for the wider Kit Team and third-party partners.
12. Ensure all kit room equipment, machinery, and laundry facilities are maintained in good working order, reporting faults or damage promptly to the Kit Manager.
13. Drive the Club kit van safely and in accordance with all applicable legislation and driving regulations.
14. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the club van, both internally and externally.
15. Provide support to the Men's Kit Technician as required and offer cover during periods of annual leave or absence

- Full clean driving licence
Desirable
- Experience with sports kit and sports equipment
- Previous commercial laundry experience
