We are seeking diligent and attentive Housekeepers both part time and full time to join our team at Hartham Park. This is a distinguished and historic house and estate, functioning as both a prestigious business office and meeting venue, as well as a sought-after location for weddings and special events.
The Housekeeping team are critical in ensuring the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our guests expect.
The ideal candidate will offer reliability but will be able to adjust to varying work schedules to cover absences and busy times.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the venue, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
Ensure that all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards, including company offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms and public areas.
Handle the laundry and ironing of linens and towels and ensure proper stocking of all necessary supplies.
Assist to set up spaces, adjusting furniture and décor as needed for weddings, conferences and other functions.
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
Identify and report any damages or maintenance issues.
Assist with deep cleaning projects and special housekeeping requests.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and use of proper cleaning chemicals.
About You:
Proven experience in a housekeeping role, preferably within a heritage or hospitality setting.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills.
Good physical condition and stamina to handle the physical aspects of the job.
