Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable 3.5 Tonne van delivery driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Duties
- Safely operate a 3.5 tonne van, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and secure goods in the vehicle, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues that arise
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs of all deliveries made
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during each delivery
- 5-6 days a week
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role is preferred
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Familiarity with driving regulations for commercial vehicles in your region
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Over 25 years old for insurance policy

Pay: £101.68-£222.73 per day
