Overview
A hybrid position combining telesales, order processing, picking/packing, and general warehouse duties. The position is for a small, fast-moving electrical supplier where flexibility and accuracy are essential.
Core Purpose of the Role
- Generate and support internal sales through inbound/outbound calls and email enquiries.
- Ensure accurate and efficient picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders.
- Maintain smooth communication between sales, warehouse, and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Sales (Phone & Email)
- Handle inbound customer calls and emails.
- Make outbound telesales calls to existing customers to promote products, chase quotes, and secure repeat orders.
- Prepare quotations and follow up to convert them.
- Process orders accurately through your ERP/CRM system.
- Provide product advice on cable management, accessories, and stock availability.
- Support the National Sales Manager with customer updates, pricing, and order information.
Warehouse Operations
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for courier and pallet dispatch.
- Receive goods-in, check deliveries, and update stock records.
- Assist with stock counts, replenishment, and general inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organised warehouse environment.
- Load/unload vehicles safely (FLT licence desirable but not essential).
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in telesales, internal sales, or customer service (electrical wholesale preferred but not essential).
- FLT License
- Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone.
- Good organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with physical warehouse work.
- Basic IT skills (email, Excel, ERP/CRM).
- A proactive, hands-on attitude — willing to switch between office and warehouse tasks as needed.
Salary & Package
Typical for hybrid sales/warehouse roles in the electrical supply sector:
- Optional performance-related bonus.
- 20 days holiday including bank holidays.

Working Hours
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4.30pm
- No weekend work unless your warehouse occasionally requires it.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
