Recruitment Resourcer
(20 to 25 hours per week - work pattern to be agreed with successful candidate)
Portico Port Services has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our team to provide recruitment and onboarding support across Portico Port Services and the wider Portico Group, with a focus on sourcing, coordinating and onboarding casual workers alongside supporting permanent recruitment activity.
Responsibilities include:
· Support the recruitment and onboarding of casual workers for Portico Port Services and wider group operations.
· Assist the HR team with recruitment coordination for permanent vacancies across the Portico Group.
· Manage vacancy advertising across recruitment platforms and social media channels where required.
· Screen applications and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
· Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
· Coordinate onboarding activities, ensuring all required documentation and right-to-work checks are completed.
· Support the maintenance and development of a reliable pool of casual workers to support operational demands.
· Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate databases.
· Liaise with operational managers regarding workforce requirements and recruitment priorities.
· Provide general recruitment and administrative support to the HR function as required.
To apply you must be able to demonstrate skills & experience in the following areas:
· A qualification in HR, Business Administration or Recruitment is desirable but not essential.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other business systems (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, or similar platforms).
· Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, HR administration or a similar support role.
· Experience coordinating recruitment processes and candidate communication.
· Strong organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ensures accuracy in recruitment records and onboarding documentation.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Pay: £18,900.00-£21,600.00 per year
