Amica Care is excited to be opening our brand-new care home, Greenlands Meadow, in August 2026. We are now looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and help create a clean, safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors and staff.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important part in supporting person-led care, maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection prevention, and contributing to a warm, homely atmosphere where residents' dignity and preferences are respected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily and scheduled cleaning duties across resident, communal, staff and back-of-house areas to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent hygiene standards, following infection prevention guidance, COSHH requirements and safe working practices.
- Support laundry and linen processes, including collection, washing, drying, ironing and distribution.
- Respect residents' dignity, privacy and preferences while helping to create a warm, homely environment.
- Report any maintenance concerns, hazards, incidents or equipment issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team and wider home team, communicating clearly and positively.
- Uphold Amica Care's values and complete training, meetings and reasonable duties as required.
About You:
We are looking for someone with experience in cleaning, domestic duties or a similar role, ideally within a care, health or hospitality setting. You will understand the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and safe working practices, be reliable and organised, and take pride in completing tasks to a high standard. A positive team player, you will communicate well, treat residents, colleagues and visitors with kindness and respect, and bring a flexible approach that reflects Amica Care's values.
