As well as general dentistry, we are also an implant, Invisalign, endodontic, cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics practice. Due to the addition of new surgeries we are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our team and help continue to provide outstanding patient care.
For a trainee applicant, this job gives you a career, as we organise formal training within this position, in order for you to eventually be registered as a dental nurse with the General Dental Council.
Key Responsibilities-
Nurse Duties - Providing clinical chair-side support to the dentist, maintaining the surgery and ensuring a thorough decontamination process is followed. For those who want to do more than the same old - you will be able to do a more extensive variety of procedures from general through to surgical/aesthetic.
Reception duties - Welcoming patients into the practice, booking appointments, making and receiving phone calls, taking payments, checking lab work in and out of the practice and updating patient information.
Specific skills and requirements-
-GDC registered (unless a trainee is applying, for which we will enroll you into a training program )
-Patient-focused, positive, enthusiastic and reliable.
-Team player
Pay is reflective for a qualified nurse. Trainees will be on minimum wage until they become experienced (usually about 6 months in) , when it will rise.
