We are seeking an Experienced Butcher/Counter Server for a Part time, Permanent Contract working Sundays & Mondays

· Our Farm Shop is situated right next door to the farm where it all started and where much of our meat is reared.
. Traditional butchery methods are employed.

· A love of food and experience of butchery including breaking down of whole carcasses (Beef, Lamb & Pork)

· Our Butchers play an important role, as they represent Allington when serving our customers. This comes with a high degree of trust, and so a strong sense of commitment and attention to detail are essential for this role.
The role:
· This is a fully customer facing role, advising & serving customers in a friendly manner at our Butchery & Deli counter, ensuring our customers have the best shopping experience
. Ensuring displays are maintained and refreshed on a regular basis
. Preparation of meat from whole carcasses as well as production and packaging of meat products
. Ensuring the hygiene of the butchery & deli department is kept to the highest standards
· Excellent product knowledge in order to advise and answer customer queries
The role would be working every Sunday & Monday but there may also be opportunities to do more hours and to cover holidays etc.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
