Job Description:
To strip and/or assemble various components to a high standard, and be able to work with minimum supervision. Instruction and training will be given.
You will have the following qualifications / experience and competence:
Key Requirements
- Good knowledge of Welded Assemblies
- Experience in the use of hand tools
- The ability to multitask, to a high standard with exceptional Attention to Detail
- Logical and Methodical.
- Team Player with the ability to work alone.
- Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal.
- Good Organisational Skills, including managing workload effectively
- Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.
Ability & Experience
- Proven experience in Welded Assemblies, and Previous Welding Qualifications beneficial.
- This is a great opportunity for a Self Motivated person who, whilst being in a team workshop, will work independently most of the time.
- A valid forklift licence would be useful
Good rates of pay to be agreed on ability/experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: We have opportunities for both Day Shift (08.00-16.30 Mon-Thurs 08.00-15.30 Fri) and Late Shift (14.00-22.00 Mon-Thurs 14.00-21.00 Fri)
