The Role -
We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team. On a daily basis you will be supporting Mozzo’s financial operations by handling day-to-day bookkeeping, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate ledger records.
Assisting the Business Operations Manager & MD by reconciling accounts, preparing payment runs, and gathering data for month-end reporting and audits.
Main Duties –
- Accounts Payable & Receivable - Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices, employee expenses, and customer payments.
- Credit Control - Monitor outstanding receivables, raise sales invoices, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Reconciliation - Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, checking for ledger accuracy and investigating discrepancies.
- Month/Year-End Support - Assist with journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and the preparation of financial data for management and external auditors.
- General Administration - Maintain organized digital and physical financial files, handle petty cash, and respond to internal/external finance queries.

- Full Time (Monday to Friday) - 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Place of Work – Mozzo World, Southampton, SO15 0AE
- Salary - £28,000 - £32,000
- Holiday – 25 days PA (+ Bank Holidays)
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
