Kudos Support is a new and dynamic supported accommodation provider for young people aged 16-17, focused on empowering them to build brighter, more independent futures. Our services are designed to support young people as they transition into adulthood, helping them develop life skills, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes in education, employment, and wellbeing.

Your Role as a Bank Youth Support Worker
You'll be part of a hands-on, flexible support team, stepping in to provide essential cover during staff absences or busy periods. Every shift you work will directly support a young person's journey to independence, helping them build confidence, stability, and essential life skills.
Responsibilities include:
\u2022 Supporting young people to build essential life skills - from cooking a meal to managing their own money - empowering them to take control of their futures
\u2022 Encouraging healthy routines and nurturing positive relationships that help young people feel valued, understood, and connected
\u2022 Being a calm and steady presence during challenging times, offering reassurance and stability when it matters most
\u2022 Creating and maintaining a safe, respectful, and family-like home where young people can truly belong and thrive
\u2022 Carefully observing and recording each young person's progress, recognising every small step forward as a victory
\u2022 Working flexible shifts, including overnight sleep-ins, to provide consistency and care when it's needed most
What We Are Looking For
\u2022 A minimum of one year's experience working with children or young people (e.g., in care, youth work, schools, or support services)
\u2022 Confidence in responding to behaviour that may be complex or challenging
\u2022 Emotional resilience and a nurturing approach
\u2022 Willingness to complete (or possession of) a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care - fully funded by us
\u2022 Ability to guide and coach young people through practical daily tasks
\u2022 Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping
\u2022 A strong team spirit and commitment to making the house feel like a true home
