Overview
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating and assembling upholstered products, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role requires a skilled professional who can undertake all aspects of upholstery, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities
- assemble upholstered furniture according to specifications.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete upholstery tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly and installation of products.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Upholsterer within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools relevant to upholstery work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, handling materials weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
