Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team working for the kitchen franchise at the sidewinder under South Coast Collective LTD. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth service delivery by swiftly and accurately delivering food from the kitchen to our guests. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry, with a focus on guest satisfaction and excellent service standards. Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is highly desirable. The Food Runner will work closely with our culinary and front-of-house teams to create a seamless dining experience.
Duties
- Collect prepared dishes from the kitchen, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Deliver food promptly and courteously to guests’ tables, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Assist in setting up tables and clearing dishes to facilitate efficient service.
- Support the kitchen staff with basic food preparation and organisation when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the service area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate orders and service flow.
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly, providing attentive guest services throughout their dining experience.
- Handle phone etiquette professionally when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles such as barista, hotel, or culinary environments is advantageous.
- Experience with food delivery or as a delivery driver can be beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation, meal presentation, and basic kitchen operations is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are essential for effective guest interaction.
- Experience in serving guests, understanding of hospitality standards, and ability to work efficiently under pressure are highly valued.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
