Responsibilities
- Assist senior service engineers in diagnosing and repairing equipment issues efficiently and accurately
- Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems
- Document service activities, maintenance records, and technical reports clearly and thoroughly
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and develop practical skills
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all service activities to maintain a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on service progress and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
- A strong interest in engineering, technology, or mechanical systems with a desire to learn and grow professionally
- Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical principles is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
- Good problem-solving skills with an active approach to troubleshooting challenges
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with colleagues and clients
- Enthusiastic attitude with a proactive mindset and eagerness to develop technical expertise
- IPAF operating licence
- NVQ Level 2-3 plant maintenance
