Role Description The Online Sales Marketing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Barking. This position is responsible for managing and growing online sales channels, including company websites, online marketplaces, and digital storefronts. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing online marketing campaigns, optimizing product listings, tracking key performance metrics, and coordinating promotions to increase traffic and conversions. The role involves close collaboration with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure stock accuracy, timely order fulfillment, and consistent brand messaging. The manager will also analyze market trends and customer behavior, propose data-driven improvements to online strategies, and maintain compliance with platform guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in online sales management, e-commerce operations, or digital retail within wholesale, FMCG, or related sectors.
- Strong digital marketing skills, including campaign planning, social media management, SEO/SEM basics, and performance tracking using analytics tools.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces, including product listing management, pricing updates, and promotion setup.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and convert insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, persuasive product and marketing content.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, including managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to work on-site in Barking, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the UK food, wholesale, or distribution industry is an advantage.
Pay: £23,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
