Vehicle Mechanic – Motor Sales Company
Location: Husbands Bosworth, Lutterworth
Job Type: Full-time (Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays if required)
Salary: Negotiated upon interview, depending on experience.
We are a busy and growing motor sales company looking for an experienced and reliable Vehicle Mechanic to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing our stock vehicles to a high mechanical standard before they are advertised and sold. This is a varied role, working across a range of makes and models.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out mechanical inspections on stock vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently.
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and general mechanical repairs.
- Prepare vehicles for sale, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and roadworthy.
- Replace brakes, suspension components, clutches, timing belts/chains, and other mechanical parts as needed.
- Work to high standards while maintaining an organised and tidy workshop.
Requirements:
- Qualified mechanic or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
- Good with people
