Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming yet secure environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations. Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to verify authorised access using CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
- Conduct thorough checks on individuals entering the premises, ensuring compliance with security policies
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorised access, theft, or disorderly behaviour
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious activities and intervening when necessary
- Respond promptly to incidents, including providing first aid if required, and liaising with emergency services when appropriate
- Record incidents accurately in security logs and report any irregularities or concerns to management
- Enforce venue policies in a professional manner, ensuring the safety of all patrons and staff
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security breaches
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- Experience in surveillance, CCTV operation, or loss prevention is highly desirable
- Basic first aid certification is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods during shifts
