We re looking for a Customer Engagement Officer to join our growing Customer Engagement team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our customers voices influence how we design, deliver, and improve our services.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (office based once day per week)

What you ll be doing
Working closely with the Customer Engagement Manager and colleagues across the organisation, you ll:
Plan and deliver engaging customer events, consultations, and engagement activities.
Gather, analyse, and interpret customer feedback, survey results, and complaint trends.
Turn customer insight into clear recommendations that drive service improvements.
Support projects that put the customer voice at the heart of decision-making.
Work with teams across the business to promote a customer-focused culture.
Monitor actions and demonstrate the impact of customer feedback.
Help ensure engagement activities are inclusive and accessible for all customers.
What we re looking for
We re looking for a Customer Engagement Officer who is organised, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience. You ll have:
Experience supporting or delivering customer engagement or customer feedback activities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present information clearly.
A proactive, solution-focused approach.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Good attention to detail, particularly when working with data and reports.
A genuine commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive engagement.
It would be great if you also have
Experience working with diverse or hard-to-reach communities.
Experience supporting projects or service improvement initiatives.
A qualification or training in customer engagement, community development, or customer experience.
