Bank Radiology/Healthcare Assistant / Receptionist

Make a difference to patients every day. Managed Healthcare Services Limited is looking for a caring, friendly, and reliable Healthcare/Radiology Assistant / Receptionist to join our clinic in Mansfield. This is a varied role where you'll combine reception and administration duties with supporting patients during their diagnostic imaging and other clinical appointments. You'll be the friendly face that welcomes patients, helps them feel at ease, and supports our clinical team in delivering exceptional care. Whether you already have experience in healthcare or are looking to take your first step into the private and NHS healthcare sectors, we'd love to hear from you. Full training is available for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming NHS and private patients to the clinic
- Managing reception and telephone enquiries
- Providing excellent customer service throughout each patient's visit
- Chaperoning patients during ultrasound and other imaging examinations
- Supporting patients with paperwork and practical assistance where needed
- Assisting the imaging team with administrative and IT tasks
- Helping to ensure the department runs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

Essential
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to travel to Nottingham Road Clinic, Mansfield
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one if required)
- Two satisfactory professional references
- Flexible availability to work approximately 3–4 shifts per week
Desirable
- Previous healthcare or NHS experience
- Radiology Department Assistant (RDA) experience
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and processes
Working Hours
This is a bank position, offering flexibility while requiring availability to support service needs.
- Variable shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm
- Monday to Sunday
- Shifts range from short shifts to up to 12 hours
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Applicants should be available to work approximately 3–4 shifts per week and be flexible and reliable with their availability
