Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of breakfast items, including hot and cold dishes, according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient ordering to ensure the availability of fresh produce and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment cleaning and sanitation
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Monitor portion control and minimise waste through efficient food preparation practices
- Support team members during busy periods, ensuring smooth kitchen operations
- Adhere to all food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not essential
- Passion for creating high-quality breakfast dishes and delivering exceptional guest service
