The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 during lessons.
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions to improve progress and confidence.
- Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation.
- Support students with a range of learning needs, including pupils with SEN where required.
- Help promote positive behaviour and student engagement.
- Build positive relationships that encourage students to achieve their full potential.
We're Looking For

- Graduates looking to gain school-based experience before progressing into teaching.
- Experienced Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants.
- Behaviour Mentors and Learning Mentors.
- Candidates with previous experience working with young people through schools, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work, childcare, or similar settings.
Applicants should have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, proactive, and professional approach.
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above or equivalent).
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
