Responsibilities
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out masonry and groundwork’s tasks.
- Lay bricks and blocks accurately following specified designs and measurements.
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and clean-up to maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure work meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and practices.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Relevant certifications or training in construction trades are advantageous but not essential.
