As a Practice Nurse at Hibaldstow Medical Practice, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective and compassionate care to our patients.
Working within your scope of practice, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care whilst promoting health, preventing illness and supporting patients to manage their own health and wellbeing.
You will lead and support Long-Term Condition clinics, undertake treatment room procedures, contribute to QOF achievement and participate in national screening and vaccination programmes. You'll also work closely with GPs and the wider practice team to provide coordinated, evidence-based care and ensure patients receive the highest possible standard of service.
We are looking for a Registered Adult Nurse with previous experience working within General Practice who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Essential Criteria
- Registered Adult Nurse with a current NMC registration.
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
- Previous experience working within General Practice.
- Experience delivering high-quality nursing care within a clinical setting.
- Experience undertaking patient assessment and delivering evidence-based care.
- Experience of treatment room nursing, including wound care, venepuncture and specimen collection.
- Experience maintaining accurate electronic clinical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of infection prevention and control, safeguarding and clinical governance.
- Commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care.

Desirable Criteria
- Experience managing Long-Term Conditions (LTCs), including diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension and cardiovascular disease.
- Experience supporting Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) and Enhanced Services.
- Cervical Cytology qualification.
- Experience delivering childhood, adult and seasonal immunisations and vaccinations.
- Experience delivering NHS Health Checks.
- Spirometry competency.
- Independent Prescriber qualification.
- Experience participating in clinical audit and quality improvement.
- Experience supervising or supporting Healthcare Assistants, Nursing Associates or student nurses.
Pay: £21.21 per hour
