We are looking for an experienced mechanic to join us on a part-time basis, keeping our fleet of HGVs, road sweepers and plant on the road.
The role
- Servicing, repairs and pre-MOT preparation across tippers, sweepers and site plant
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Routine maintenance and reactive breakdown work
- Keeping accurate service and defect records
Hours
Part time and flexible — we’ll build the days around you. Ideal for someone semi-retired, working around another role, or wanting steady regular work without full-time hours.

What we’re looking for
Proven experience on HGVs, plant or commercial vehicles
- Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise your own workload
- Full UK driving licence
- HGV licence, welding/fabrication skills or air-con qualification all useful, but not essential
Pay: £25,420.00-£53,818.39 per year
