Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of teas, beverages, and light snacks with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare food items according to safety standards, including sandwiches, pastries, and other light refreshments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tea room area, including tables, counters, and display areas
- Assist with food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, taking orders and addressing any special requests or dietary needs
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure the tea room remains inviting and fully stocked
- Support team members during busy periods by helping with food preparation and serving tasks
Skills
- Experience in catering or food service environments, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Barista experience is neccesary, especially in brewing quality teas or coffee beverages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality roles is highly desirable
