Three Oaks Bespoke Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Second Fix Carpenter to join our growing team delivering exceptional high-end residential projects across London and the Home Counties.
The successful candidate will take pride in producing outstanding workmanship and have extensive experience working within luxury residential properties. You will be responsible for the installation of high-quality joinery, fixtures, fittings, and finishing carpentry to the highest standards expected by our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of second fix carpentry on high-end residential projects.
- Install doors, skirting boards, architraves, wall panelling, bespoke joinery, cabinetry, ironmongery, and other finishing elements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.
- Work closely with site managers, project managers, designers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Handle and install materials safely, including occasional manual handling and lifting.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment.
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies and site regulations.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively while maintaining programme deadlines.
RequirementsEssential
- Proven experience as a Second Fix Carpenter, ideally within the high-end residential sector.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own van and comprehensive set of professional carpentry tools.
- Excellent knowledge of the building industry including 1st and 2nd fix carpentry techniques and finishing details.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional attitude with excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Thorough understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
Desirable
- Relevant NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent carpentry qualification.
- Experience working on bespoke and luxury residential projects.
- CSCS card.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings.
