The English Rose is currently searching for a hard working and reliable Cook needed for our busy cafe in Victoria, Central London.
We need someone enthusiastic about food, who can use initiative, and cope well in a fast paced environment while maintaining high standards of food hygiene. The ideal candidate would have excellent attention to detail and a careful, considered approach to food presentation.
This is a hands-on role in a small team, and while the focus is on food preparation and presentation, the successful candidate will also assist in general kitchen duties - including dishwashing - to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
Must be available to work on weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing orders
- Food preparation and baking responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to food hygiene and health and safety rules
- Using the dishwashers
- Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen production areas and helping members of staff with day to day kitchen duties
Immediate start. Latest shift finish at 6.30 pm. Room for career progression. We have full- time positions available. Monthly pay on the last Friday of each month, paid break, lunch provided. Immediate start. Equal share of daily tips.
