Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy award winning countryside pub as our manager of 8 years moves onto new pastures.
The role is full time working a 4 day week, with rotational weekend days off.
The successful person will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards of food and quality, and leading a motivated team and be hands on with service.

The Restaurant Manager will be instrumental in driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence whilst working alongside our General Manager and Owner.
Duties
- Supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, serving and kitchen management
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise productivity
- Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff on food production, event bookings, pre orders and menu offerings, including allergens
- Handle and manage customer enquiries, across restaurant and events. Managing lots of pre orders and large dining tables.
- Managing customer emails and bookings
- Manage complaints, and feedback promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant environment, reporting any maintanaince where needed
- Assist in training new staff members in service procedures, safety standards, and company policies
- Monitor inventory levels, across restaurant and bar order supplies as needed, and control costs effectively
- Create social media content during shifts and content from live music and events
Experience
- Proven supervising/managers experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive restaurant experience with a strong eye and attention for detail in food presentation,
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
