Housekeeper :
We are looking for a colleague with team spirit for a zero hour contract, who can work at pace in our healthcare environment to ensure the high standards of cleanliness required for a GP surgery, working across both our sites at mablethorpe and Sutton on sea. This role will cover sickness and annual leave.
The role :
You will work to carry out a range of varied cleaning activities at the surgery, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins and cleaning toilets. The building is over two levels and has a range of rooms which all need equally high standards of cleanliness including clinical rooms, offices, and patient waiting areas.
Each room will be required to be deep cleaned on a regular basis where furniture and equipment will need to be moved to ensure the whole room is clean.
In addition you will:
- Ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
- Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Cover your team mates annual leave with shift changes or overtime where necessary
You will need:
- Good attention to details
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
- Previous healthcare cleaning experience is preferred but not essential as full training and induction will be provided.
- If Successful we will require 2 references and you will need to have DBS check
