Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Care Home Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant care home dedicated to providing exceptional care. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the delivery of high quality care including specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care, while fostering a warm, welcoming environment for residents and their families. Duties
- Lead the overall management of the care home, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to all regulatory requirements
- Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care strategies
- Supervise and support a team of care staff, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and conducting performance evaluations to maintain high standards of care
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate nursing services and manage complex medical needs within the home setting
- Foster an environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for residents through engaging activities and personalized support
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, safeguarding procedures, and quality assurance standards in all aspects of care delivery
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing schedules efficiently to meet operational goals while maintaining excellent resident care
Experience
- Proven senior management experience within a care home or assisted living environment
- Extensive knowledge of elderly care, including medication administration and health monitoring
- Demonstrated expertise in dementia care and Alzheimer’s disease management
- Strong background in developing and overseeing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership, staff development, and performance management
- Familiarity with regulatory standards governing nursing homes or residential care facilities
- Experience in managing budgets, resource allocation, and operational logistics within a healthcare or home care setting

Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
