Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Furniture Installer / Warehouse Operative / Driver Installer & Fitter to join our dynamic team. This role involves the installation, assembly, and fitting of furniture at various client locations, alongside warehouse duties and driving responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be organised, physically fit, and possess excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery. This position offers an engaging environment for those interested in hands-on work within the furniture and logistics sector.
Duties
- Safely transport furniture and equipment to designated sites using company vehicles
- Assemble, install, and fit furniture according to specifications and client requirements
- Conduct site surveys and prepare work areas prior to installation
- Unload deliveries and organise stock within the warehouse efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and installation progress
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and quality expectations
- Assist with general warehouse operations including stock management and cleaning
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in furniture installation or related trade work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving licence with clean driving record is essential
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and site conditions
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to installation work
A CSCS card holder would be helpful as we do lots of work currently on construction sites. But not essential.
