Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic solely private dental practice in Formby. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment room, including sterilisation of instruments and equipment.
- Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring and educating patients about their treatments.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of treatments performed.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans.
- Provide back up assistance on reception as and when needed
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Must be a qualified Dental Nurse and GDC registered. Previous proven experience in ortho/implants/endo would be an advantage.
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
- Willing to be flexible, with an upbeat, motivated personality.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience of using Dentally preferred.

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
