GHST KTCHN designs, manufactures, and delivers innovative hospitality spaces, including food trailers, such as kiosks and vans. We work with ambitious brands across the UK, turning creative concepts into operational realities.
As our projects continue to grow, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Fit-Out Technician to join our team and help deliver high-quality builds from workshop fabrication through to final installation.
The Role
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing and construction environment. You will be involved in the fit-out, installation, and finishing of modular hospitality units, trailer conversions, commercial kitchens.
The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple trades and take pride in producing high-quality work while meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out internal fit-outs of kiosks, trailers and modular units.
- Install wall systems, insulation, cladding, flooring, ceilings, and finishing materials.
- Complete joinery and carpentry works, including counters, cabinetry, and bespoke fixtures.
- Assist with plumbing installations, drainage systems, and equipment connections.
- Support electrical first-fix and second-fix installations where appropriate.
- Install commercial kitchen equipment, extraction systems, and service areas.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication details, and project specifications.
- Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards and health & safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, fabricators, and installation teams.
- Assist with site installations and project handovers when required.
- Essential Requirements
· Proven experience in construction, fit-out, joinery, or modular building environments.
· Practical experience in plumbing installations, including pipework, drainage, water services, sinks, and equipment connections.
· Practical experience in electrical installations.
· Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
· Strong understanding of commercial fit-out, and finishing processes.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Comfortable working across multiple trades to support project delivery.
· Full UK Driving Licence.
· Desirable Experience
· Commercial kitchen installation experience.
· Relevant qualifications in Plumbing, Electrical Installation, Joinery, or Construction Trades.
· Experience working within hospitality, retail, foodservice, or commercial environments.

Self employed basis £30 per hour
(Please note: We are currently based in Halstead waiting for an imminent move to Sudbury)
