Location: Shrewsbury (Rural Setting)
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + Performance Bonus (up to £7,000 per year)

We are seeking on behalf of our client an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our beautiful 3-bed children's residential home in a stunning rural location near Shrewsbury.

As Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive, develop, and reach their full potential.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the effective leadership, management, and operation of the home. You will ensure the service consistently delivers outstanding care while maintaining full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated staff team, promoting a therapeutic and child-centred culture throughout the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and management of the children's home.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, care, and support for children and young people.
- Maintain compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing staff team.
- Monitor and improve service quality, ensuring positive outcomes for children.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance effectively.
- Build positive relationships with local authorities, families, external professionals, and stakeholders.
- Promote a therapeutic approach to care across the service.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential setting, or a highly experienced Deputy Manager ready to progress.
- Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted expectations.
- Proven leadership, people management, and team development experience.
- A genuine passion for therapeutic care and improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards completion).
- Full UK driving licence.
