Join our team at Fairfield Fresh Ltd Ltd, a leading supplier of prepared fresh produce to a diverse customer base.
We are seeking a self-sufficient supervisor to work with the production manager to keep production running smoothly and efficiently .
We need a “hands on” supervisor who can deal with problems while maintaining our high standards.
Job Role:
- Ensure that all duties are carried out with respect for Health and Safety
- Working with the production manger to supervise a small team.
- Ensuring that all technical requirements and specifications are adhered to.
- Managing staff on a day-to-day basis
- Factory based role, with some office-based tasks required.
Requirements:
- Hands on approach to solving problems is essential.
- Good communication, both written and verbal
- IT experience is preferred including word, excel and outlook, but not essential as all training will be given.
- Good organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and focused in challenging situations.
- Flexible ‘can do’ attitude with a confident, friendly, and approachable manner.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Ability to be highly flexible with regards working hours which involves early starts and potentially weekend work if required due to business needs.
A good understanding and use of the English language is required.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 6am - 5pm standard hours but shorter hours when quieter.
Job Type: Full-time
