Duties
- Lead and supervise electrical project teams, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality standards across all projects
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the electrical business, identifying new opportunities and markets
- Manage client relationships by providing expert guidance, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies at all times
- Coordinate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment efficiently while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Mentor and develop team members by providing leadership, training opportunities, and performance feedback
Experience
- Industry Expertise: Strong background within the electrical contracting or engineering sector.
- Qualifications: Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2391, 18th Edition, or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering) are highly desirable.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a management, business development, or operational leadership role within an electrical environment.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance day-to-day operational priorities with high-level commercial growth and business planning.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of contract management, project financial controls, and client acquisition.
