Job Title: Acoustic Site Fitter
Based at: Site (as per project requirements).
Site hours: 08.00-18.00
Job Purpose Summary:
To liaise with the Installation Team, Team Leader, Site Manager, Installation Coordinator and Project Team during the preparation for and the installation of the company product through to completion. All activities to be undertaken in accordance with Company procedures and in a safe and orderly manner. The post holder will be required to work nationally at a variety of sites and locations across the UK to fulfil the above duties. THIS MEANS STAYING AWAY OVERNIGHT DURING THE WHOLE WORKING WEEK.
Starting day rate from £167 rising to £175 after 3 months probation, this includes £25 overnight non taxable allowance where applicable PLUS overtime PLUS travel hours both ways PLUS overnight accommodation PLUS 28 days holiday PLUS pension PLUS death in service insurance.
You must be eligible to work in the UK.
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PASS A UKAS LABORATORY VERIFIED DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST before you start your employment.
You must be over 21 to be covered by our fleet insurance. A full UK driving license with 6 points or less is also required.
You must be a CSCS card holder.
You must live in a commutable distance to West Mersea.
Preferable Skills:
National Grid Persons
Any trades, site labouring experience or a steel fitting background would be an advantage.
An ability to read and understand technical drawings.
