We are looking for a reliable and organised Accounts Administrator to join our busy Finance team. This office-based role will support day-to-day accounts administration, supplier paperwork, reporting and general office duties.
Key Responsibilities
As Accounts Administrator, you will:
· Run stock transfer reports and prepare information for the Purchasing & Pricing Controller to support the month-end stock reconciliation process.
· Collate Goods In weighbridge tickets for material purchases and check that records are complete and matched with invoice paperwork.
· Prepare Material Valuation Sheets and distribute them to suppliers by email.
· Prepare supplier reports in Excel, detailing and summarising monthly transactions.
· Respond to supplier, departmental and general email queries in a timely and professional manner.
· Handle telephone calls, including supplier queries and incoming general calls as part of the wider team duties.
· Assist with barrier and reception welcome duties when required.
· File paperwork and support with general administrative tasks across the Finance team.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will be accurate, dependable and comfortable working with numbers and administrative detail. You will be part of a small Finance team, so a flexible and helpful approach is important.
You should have:
· Good Microsoft Excel skills, including inputting data, sorting information and using basic functions such as SUM and lookup formulas.
· Intermediate Microsoft Outlook skills and basic Microsoft Word skills.
· A confident and professional telephone manner.
· Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with paperwork, reports and supplier information.
· Previous experience in an administrative or accounts office role, ideally within a busy team environment.
· A strong work ethic, team player approach and flexibility to support colleagues during weekly and monthly workflow peaks.
· Experience of SAP Waste & Recycling One would be beneficial, although on-the-job training will be provided.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
