Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality care and support tailored to individual children's needs
- Planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Assisting with daily routines such as meal times, nappy changing, and sleep schedules
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating environment in line with health and safety standards
- Supporting children’s social skills, emotional development, and independence
- Contributing to the organisation’s policies and procedures relating to childcare practices
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is desirable but not essential for unqualified applicants
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities when needed
- Management skills for organising activities and supporting children's developmental milestones
- Childcare or nursery experience is preferred; relevant qualifications are advantageous for qualified applicants
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development

Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
