Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Cleaning Operatives to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across multiple client sites, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties in commercial spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas, including restrooms, offices, kitchens, and communal spaces
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency across sites
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning activities
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure efficient operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
